Ummara Waheed is the Project Manager for the Education Program at CERP
Ummara Waheed is a Project Manager for the education research portfolio at CERP. Her role encompasses research management, project delivery, and policy engagement for various initiatives supported by partners such as the World Bank, ADB, RISE, J-PAL, and FCDO. She is currently supervising workstreams under the Targeted Instruction Pakistan project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TIP-KP). She previously managed the sixth round of the Learning and Educational Achievements in Pakistan Schools (LEAPS) project and led the implementation of an experimental study on Teacher Expectations and Pygmalion Effect. She holds an MPhil in Education Leadership and Management from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Before joining CERP, she worked as a Deputy Educational Advisor at the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
